Croydon Recreation Ground offers a bandstand and bowling green and both parks are always busy whatever the time of year while Crease Park is a lovely open, green space.

Adding a loft conversion to your Beckenham home makes financial sense
Zoopla estimate the average terraced house in Beckenham is £539,594 and similarly, Foxtens say the average property price this year is £545,557. When we look at typical prices based on number of bedrooms, we can see a huge jump in prices. An average 2-bed property starts from £295,000, a 3-bed from 525,00 and an average 4-bed starts at £1250,000!
In other words, homeowners living in Beckenham and needing additional space can expect to pay in excess of 100K plus just to get an additional bedroom! However, Econoloft can add an extra floor and additional rooms for a lot less – as the Allison family discovered.
John and Jane Allison and their two children lived in a 1930s mid-terraced house and purchased it with the intention of adding a loft conversion ensuring their home was large enough to accommodate a growing family. Econoloft added a master bedroom and ensuite.
Now John and Jane love their adult retreat at the top of the house. Their daughter has moved into their former bedroom which has been redecorated to suit her taste.
